		<description><![CDATA[<p>Violent Vickie is a multi-media electro-punk band from San Francisco, California.

Inspired by Riot Grrrl and electronic music, Vickie started writing songs in 2003, recording drum machines, keyboards, samplers, guitars, and vocals onto a four track. Her lyrics question society and address female stereotypes, consumerism, addiction and religion.

Violent Vickie shows incorporate energetic, psychedelic visuals that complement the content of the music. She has since played throughout Los Angeles and the Bay Area, toured the West Coast, played Occupy Oakland/Hoodstock, Santa Cruz Pride, Ladyfest Texas and Scutterfest. <p>After self-releasing two CD EPs, &#8220;Shut Yr Snatch&#8221; and &#8220;Violent Vickie EP,&#8221; she is currently producing and recording a full-length album entitled &#8220;Monster Alley&#8221;, planning an East Coast tour and a Europe Tour.</p>
