We are an electro rock band from the beautiful, sunny climes of Thurrock in Essex. We’ve been creating soulful, hard-edged electronica for a few years now (under various guises) and have nothing to offer but our gift of musical eclecticism all tied up in a funky beat! Although we have more in common, musically, with current (and past) electronica bands, our hearts and minds are resolutely based in metal valhalla (the new stuff we are about to finish has some wicked dual guitar harmonies!!!) We are soon to set up our own artist database for unsigned and unsung bands (which will involve distribution).
Listen and believe!!!
Many of our trax are instrumental, and this is often our preferred mode of composition. We are influenced by the Warp records crew and specifically bands such as Nine Inch nails, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Composer Joe Hisaishi, Royksopp and Trivium.
Give us a listen, I promise that after a few spins you will be humming along with the incredibly infectious, yet subversive, melodies!
Biography: Sweet Little Lesions is the culmination and coming together of two little projects that were running side by side – Che-Wiz and Sweet little lesions (or I chose one name for me and one for the band).

Che-Wiz: I’m not a great singer but then I’m not trying to be. I think Mike Skinner has given fellas like me the courage to bite the bullet and swallow my pride and put something out for others to hear, even though the vocals are inimitable to say the least.

It’s all got a rugged style, but sometimes you can get a little obsessive about production and I have overproduced songs before and didn’t like the sound of it (I like to think of myself as the Steve Albini of the technical age).
We have a wide range of influences, so our output can be very eclectic – I often said we are too cotemporary for the Warp records crowd and not contemporary enough for today’s rock aficionados – but give us a listen, I promise that after a few spins you will be humming along with the incredibly infectious, yet subversive, melodies!
